Percutian ke Jepun 2017 (Part 4) Sapporo - Otaru

Bila sampai chitose airport, firstly we need to activate our JR pass and beli Otaru Welcome Pass. JR Pass ni kami beli di JTB di KLCC sekali dengan USJ entrance and Express Pass. JR Pass ni kami beli untuk 7 days so we told the girl that kami nak activate JR Pass on 3rd Mar only, the day we will go to Tokyo dengan Hokkaido Shinkansen.

JR Office kat Chitose kena ambik escalator turun bawah. Senang jer kalau travel kat Japan ni kena rajin bertanya. So kami pantang nampak information counter, kami akan tanya di mana tu, di mana ni. So far, they are able to assist us bagi direction yang tepat walaupun ada jugak yang struggle nak paham bahasa english dia org.

Bila selesai, kami terus catch a train dari chitose airport ke Otaru, the trip took us an hour plus. Pemandangan putih penuh snow so memang jakun la tengok snow bebyk tu.

Last meal dalam flight Air Asia, perut dah lapar.

King Crab kat Sankaku Market, Otaru

Sampai kat Otaru Station, kluar2 dari pintu ke kiri naik macam tangga sikit sampai la ke sankaku market. Kat sini, main attraction dia ialah king crab. Memang besar crab dia, berat pulak tu. Boleh pilih nak makan mentah atau nak BBQ. Jangan pulak imagine BBQ macam kat mesia, rase macam rebus jer haha..tapi memang puas makan crab ni, for 3 persons melampau la pulak banyak. Lepas tu terlebih excited pegi add on pulak dengan seafood lain2.

Kedai ni banyak pengunjung islam, so dia dah tahu restriction yang orang islam ada so tukang masak guna kicap halal dan tak pakai any alchohol. Harga..hmmm .. memang kena tahan nafas la tapi berbaloi.. 

Kat Otaru ni, otw ke otaru canal ada tourist information, kalau rajin boleh singgah dan dia akan bagi attraction places kat Otaru. Tapi semua menapak la ya. 

Attractions kat Otaru :

1. Otaru Canal

2. Sankaku Market (King Crab)

3. Al Noor Masjid

4. Music Box Museum (yang ni jauh jugak nak menapak dari otaru station)

5. Kedai cheese cake LeTao (tak pergi pun)

Lepas Otaru, kami bertolak ke Sapporo untuk check in. Since we dont want to reach sapporo dark, kami bertolak ke sapporo dalam pukul 3 ptg, it takes about 30 mins dari otaru ke sapporo pakai otaru welcome pass tu.

Percutian ke Jepun 2017 (Part 3) Sapporo

Our flight schedule :

27-2 : KLIA2 - Haneda (Arrived in Haneda pukul 10:30pm)

28.2 : Haneda - Chitose Airport (flight kul 6.45am)

Its a waste nak tido sekejap jer kat hotel, so we decided to jadi gelandangan di tokyo. Sampai kat Haneda, alhamdulillah, everything is smooth for us, we can get through the immigration without much questions. Lepas clear semua, night is still young, nak buat aper ni. 

tDi Tokyo, hanya international airport dibenarkan tido, domestic tak boleh tidur dalam airport. First, sampai2 memang excited akhirnya dipermudahkan dapat jua sampai  di Tokyo. First, we decided to go to 5th floor for deck observation. Kat atas tu boleh nampak pemandangan International Tokyo Airport, but it is very cold, sejuk sampai ke tulang. Ingat dah nak spring tak der la sejuk sgt, but for me its unbearable.

After that, we go to 1st floor untuk cari pot nak landing. Seat dia memang banyak kat 1st floor, not too worry ramai org landing kat situ, kat 2nd floor plak ada prayer room. Prayer room dia ada 2, unisex. But kalau a lady dah masuk satu room, automatically, next room is for male and vice versa.

Nak masuk prayer room tu kena tekan butang intercom kat depan pintu sliding tu, no need to say anything, nanti pintu tu terbuka. Dalam tu ada tempat ambil air sembahyang. Sebelah dekat2 prayer room tu pun ada tandas. So, it is very convenient.

Gelandangan dari Ipoh

Pukul 5:30 pagi ada airport shuttle yang boleh commute ke domestic terminal, but before that, kalau ambil domestic dari tokyo kena  tahu terminal 1 or 2 depends on the flight. Ada signboard ke airport shuttle, rasanya platform 0. Pepagi macam ni penuh jugak shuttle bus tu.

Macam skymark, we have to take it to terminal 1. Kalau tengok tak lah jauh international terminal to domestic terminal, tapi dia punya pusing rasa macam  took us 15 mins jugak untuk sampai di terminal 1. 

After done our check in kat skymark, we are off to chitose airport which is about 1 hour 30 mins from Haneda.

Percutian ke Jepun (Part 2) Plan Bertukar

Period that we choose to goo t Japan from 27.2 - 10.3 adalah period yang samada event missed or coming soon di Tokyo / Osaka, unless kalau our intention is to visit attractions, USJ, Disneyland, well nothing wrong with the period.

1. Winter snow (Tokyo - done, heading to spring)

2. Cherry Blossom (Tokyo - dalam mid Mar - April baru blooming)

3. Sapporo Snow Festival (over in mid Feb)

Memang my intention to get my family feel the real snow like I had before during my study. Tetiba, macam bertukar plan plak. Why not bring my family to Sapporo and enjoy playing snow there. Tambahan, a friend baru balik dari Sapporo and she shared the beautiful pictures of snows dekat Takino Suzuran. 

Through my readings, I got to know that snow masih turun di Sapporo sehingga May. So hey, why not slot few days in Sapporo for white scenery, it would a good experience with my family. 

So, I decided to survey domestic flight dari Haneda ke Sapporo and then settled with Skymark Airline. So now, our itinerary changed again to include Sapporo in the trip.

Now fixed our trip will cover Sapporo - Aomori - Tokyo - Osaka. Hmm, things are getting interesting and congested but I  am excited to have the experience.
